installation steps：
You must have a PlayStation 1 with a “parallel port I/O” connector.
The switch board must be properly soldered to the PSX motherboard for PSIO to work properly.
For detailed instructions on how to solder the switch board to the motherboard, please refer to the correct network installation diagram
Note that if the switch board cannot be installed correctly, the PSIO system will be invalid, and the PSX system may be damaged when trying to run PSIO without the switch board.
Warm reminder: Give a random 16GSD card, built-in driver and test machine game, check the modification and upgrade welding without errors (check twice carefully), you can insert the PSIO to start the game machine.

Works well. updated to latest firmware v2.7/19 Oct 28 2024 from russian site 4pda. I was sceptical at first because I bought the plastic version years ago stuck on v2.6. I then bought an official one when I found out it wouldn’t update. I needed another psio for my other console and took a chance on this one. kudos to the guy that posted an up to date screen shot of the firmware. I wouldn’t have bought it without seeing that first.

Hace unos meses compré otro de la versión antigua y no conseguía que funcionara en mi PSX, comprobé las soldaduras varias veces y lo veía todo bien. Mosqueado, dije a ver si lo que está mal es el cacharro y efectivamente, he comprado este y ha funcionado todo perfecto a la primera. Además el vendedor lo envolvió perfectamente y ha llegado en tiempo record. 10/10!

fácil de actualizar con la página rusa producto de muy buena calidad me vino con dos circuitos para instalar en la placa de la play 1 solo utilicé uno de muy buena calidad totalmente actualizable (firmware hack) muy recomendado

I have an original one and this one with the russian firmware is faster and works just as well with all my games. You need to solder vcc on the other side of the diode for it to work.
